ICE Team Challenge Award

A special Assembly was held on Monday 8 April 2019 to celebrate the success of a group of our Year 9 pupils as winners of the South Wales Institute of Chartered Engineers Team Challenge Award 2018.

With the help of ICE volunteers, our potential Engineers of the future took part in a practical, hands-on engineering task based on flood risk management.  They had to design and build a structure to span a set distance that was able to withstand a flood.

Our winners, Ceirion, Rhys, Harvey and Ryan were also supported at the Assembly by their proud families. Well done and llongyfarchiadau i chi gyd!
