Dear Parent(s) / Carer(s)

It gives me great pleasure to introduce myself
as the new Headteacher of Afon Tâf High School.
I am very proud to have been appointed to this important role.

I hold a strong belief in the power of education
to change children’s lives and the right of every
child to receive an excellent education.
I am dedicated to building opportunities for
students to achieve the highest academic standards, ensuring that they are known as individuals and that their unique personality, talents and interests are nurtured and developed to the full.
At Afon Tâf we aim to develop the whole
child providing opportunities for them to
develop within and beyond the classroom.

This strong partnership between parents and
the school is so important in enabling children to achieve success and so I ask for your full support of school policies and for your continued proactive involvement in your child’s education.
In addition to smart uniform it is essential that
students are fully prepared for their studies each
day by checking their planners each evening to
ensure they have all the necessary books,
equipment and homework for the following day.

I very much look forward to meeting with you in the near future and working in partnership with you over the coming years to secure the best possible
future for your child(ren).

Yours sincerely

Mr S James (Headteacher)
