Christmas Top of the Pops 2019

Initially the 1980s brainchild of Mrs Janice Jones, Assistant Head of Sixth Form,
Afon Tâf’s ‘Christmas Top of the Pops’ has become something of a unique tradition which continues to entertain and enthral generations of our pupils.  It heralds the end of an intense, busy Autumn term.

Originally organised and performed by the school’s Sixth Form, the baton for coordination and performance has since been handed over to Year 11 pupils in their final year of secondary school.

This year’s musical medley, compered by our Deputy Headteacher, Mr Baber, included a wide and varied range of entertainment from our talented group of pupils.
A few musical interruptions nuggets from staff were also on show, much to the delight of the packed audience!

Without wishing our lives away, we look forward to next year’s spectacular, in earnest.
