The course gives a unique opportunity for students to explore, the world of fashion, current fashion designers, trends on the high street as well as developing their own creative and practical skills through drawings, sketches and practical tasks such as making accessories and clothes. We encourage the development of ideas and research through the use of sketches, ICT on A3 sheets.
There will also be opportunities to visit a Fashion Event in London as well as visits to local college fashion shows and fabric retailers. We also encourage speakers who work within the fashion industry into school.
This a creative, exciting and innovative course and who’s to say it won’t inspire the next Stella McCartney or Julien MacDonald.
